I did it!

The prompt for today is: What is the one thing you finally did this year that you always wanted or said you were going to do, but in your heart of hearts never thought you would actually do? courtesy of Amy Krajek

A couple of things came to mind when I read this. The first one is that I NEVER thought we would go on a family vacation. When you have kids, everything changes. But when you have triplets, life completely....um....yeah its NOTHING like it was before. I couldn't imagine going to the grocery store when the boys were babies- let alone go on a vacation. As the boys got older, slowly but surely we have ventured out. This year we ventured half way across the country on our very first TRUE family vacation. A few years ago I would never have imagined going on a plane with triplet boys. Just the thought of traveling with triplets can put one into a panic. But we did it. They were fantastic!! We had a few speed bumps and hurdles along the way but we did it. And I would totally do it again!!

The other thing that came to mind was I never thought our house would sell and we would move!! Our house was on the market for almost a year before it sold. That was such a long and hard process!! But it finally sold. Then it was the mad rush of finding a new place. Moving. Settling in. Blah blah blah. So glad that is all over!!
