To today. Today they are 6. I feel so blessed and happy. I am starting to tear up a little bit. My babies are gone. My babies are not even toddlers anymore. They are boys. And they are wonderful!!

Today we tried to spend the day doing everything they could dream of! :) We started out with presents.

I have to admit it felt a little like Christmas. It was a blast. This year we had the boys buy for each other. It was fun taking them out to pick for each other. And I think they enjoyed giving each other stuff as much as they did getting stuff.

After presents, we ate breakfast of cinnamon rolls. Andy and Marcie introduced us to these super, yummy, delicious cinnamon rolls when we went to visit them last. Of course, I can't remember the brand right now (someone help me out). But they are in the freezer section of your grocery store and have a red and blue top with an aluminum foil bottom. So good!!

After breakfast, we played with the new toys!

It started to pour rain so we went back inside and played with the new wii games and various other toys. After awhile we went out roller skating at Skate Daze. Its a fun place to go that has numerous things to do- roller skating, play thing-a-ma-bob, video games, bumper cars, train thing-a-ma-giggy. It's a kids' heaven! And, yes, those are the technical terms! We started out roller skating.

They did pretty good. But after about 4-5 laps they were done!

After they were finished with skating we went to play here:

Since all three of them had very different ideas as to what they wanted to do, after Skate Daze we headed over to Dave&Busters to play some more games.

It was so much fun. Look at the loot they got!!

When we were done playing games it was getting to be dinner time. Of course, all three wanted something different for their birthday dinner. Josh got Jimmy Johns. Alex got Pizza Hut. Zach got Taco Bell. Matt and I got Blue sushi! SO YUMMY!! After dinner, we sang happy birthday to the boys and then chowed down on Cupcake Island cupcakes!! HEAVENLY!!

It was a perfect day!! I am so lucky to have three amazing boys!! I am so looking forward to watching them grow up. With that said, I pray everyday that time stands still. I love this age!! And it seems to be going by so fast. Happy Birthday Boys!! I wish you many, many more!!

  2. I remember visiting the boys in the NICU when they were that teeny! It seems like it was SO long ago, and yet like it was only last week. :-) You are absolutely right, they are great kids and you are very blessed to have them!

I love that they all three got something different for their birthday dinners, and that you and Matt go out of your way to make sure no one has to compromise on his birthday. You guys are excellent parents.

Last, I wanna go to Skate Daze and climb in that play thing, it looks awesome!!!
